Can workflows connect to other systems outside the platform?

Yes, through webhooks. An inbound webhook can start a workflow when another system (such as your ATS, payroll, or ticketing tool) sends information, and a Publish Webhook action can send workflow data out to another system. Inbound webhooks are secured with authentication and payload verification.
