Edit a Goal

After a goal is created, users may realize that they need to change something about the goal created.

This article walks through how can an employee, manager, and admin edit a goal.

Employee to Edit a Goal

Employees can edit any goals which are owned and assigned by them.

Step 1: Navigate to Home > Goals > My Goals > Owned by Me.

Step 2: Click the Overflow Menu Master_Component-12.png Icon and select Edit.edit 1-1

Step 3: Make the changes as required from the Edit Goal page.

Manager to Edit a Goal

Managers can edit any goal of their direct reports.

Step 1: Navigate to Teams > Goals > My Team Goals.

Step 2: Select an employee and click any goal.

Step 3: Click the Overflow Menu Master_Component-12.png Icon and select Edit.edit 2-1

Step 4: Make the changes as required from the Edit Goal page.

Admin to Edit a Goal

Admins can edit any top-level goals in the organization. They can also edit any individual goal from the Goals Directory.

Step 1: Navigate to Admin > Goals > Top Level Goals to edit a top level goal OR

Navigate to Admin > Goals > Goals Directory to edit an individual goal.

Note: Here, we are demonstrating editing the top level goal.

Step 2: Click any top level goal.

Step 3: Click the Overflow Menu Master_Component-12.png Icon and select Edit.edit 3-1

Step 4: Make the changes as required from the Edit Goal page.

 

Edit Goal Details

Modify the goal details as necessary and click Save.
