Get a JQL Query from Jira

JQL stands for Jira Query Language, which is a powerful search language used to find and filter issues in Jira. With JQL, users can search for issues based on various criteria such as issue type, status, priority, assignee, reporter, project, and many other custom fields. 

To get a JQL query:

Step 1: Select All Issues/My Open Issues from the “Filters” drop-down.

Step 2: Filter the issues. 

Step 3: After filtering the issues, click Switch to JQL.

Step 4: You can see the JQL query being built in the search bar. Copy the JQL to the clipboard. You can use the obtained JQL to find the issue.
