On an employee’s user profile page, I can see a feature called ‘Upload Documents’. How can I use that feature?

This feature is primarily used for the Performance and 360 Feedback modules. When you upload documents here, they will be visible to users when they are writing performance reviews or giving 360 Feedback to that employee.
