Introduction** Integrating ZenHR with Engagedly allows admins to sync employee information from ZenHR directly into Engagedly. The integration improves efficiency, streamlines administrative workflows, and keeps employee records accurate and consistent across both platforms. It also reduces manual updates and minimizes data entry errors. Learn more in [Overview of integrations](https://help.engagedly.com/overview-of-integrations?hsLang=en). 📒**Note:** This document covers the integration setup for both Tangerine (V2) and Indigo (V3). Screenshots are captured from Indigo (V3), so the user interface may vary slightly in Tangerine. **Prerequisites** - Admin access to both ZenHR and Engagedly. - An application created in your ZenHR account to generate a client ID and secret key. ### **2. Integration process** [Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to enable ZenHR for your organization. Once enabled, the application status changes to "Available," allowing you to proceed with the connection. Navigate to **Settings \> Integrations** in Engagedly to verify the status. In the "HRIS" section, ZenHR appears as an available option. ### **3. Default field mappings** Engagedly supports the following fields for the ZenHR integration: | **Engagedly fields** | **ZenHR fields** | | --- | --- | | First Name | First Name | | Last Name | Last Name | | Email | Email | | Manager | Manager | | Employee ID | Employment Number | | Job Title | Job Title | | Departments | Departments | | Birth Date | Birth Date | | Joining Date | Joining Date | | Termination Date | Termination Date | | Status | Status | | Location | Location | 📒**Notes:** - These are the default supported fields. [Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to customize or add additional fields as required. - ZenHR groups employees by branch. Select the branches you want to sync during setup (refer to [Add organization branches](https://help.engagedly.com/integrate-zenhr-with-engagedly#add-branches)). ### **4. Set up ZenHR** Before you connect ZenHR to Engagedly, create an application in your ZenHR account to generate a client ID and secret key. #### **4.1. Enter connection details** Navigate to **Settings \> Integrations** in Engagedly. 1. Authenticate** After you submit your connection details, Engagedly authenticates with ZenHR: - If you are already logged in to your ZenHR account, the connection is established immediately. - If you are not logged in, ZenHR prompts you to sign in. 1. Enter your email address and click **Continue**. 2. Enter your password and click **Login**. After successful authentication, the connection is established. #### **4.3. Add organization branches** ZenHR organizes employees into branches, similar to departments or business units. After authentication, Engagedly lists all branches available in your ZenHR application. 1. Click **Branches**. All branches created in your ZenHR application are listed. 2. Select one or more branches to sync employees. 3. After you save the branch selection, the “Sync Now” option becomes available. ### **5. Add and sync employee accounts** #### **5.1 Add employees in ZenHR** Add a new employee in ZenHR before syncing. Navigate to **Employee \> Employee Management \> + Add Employee**. #### **5.2. Automatic sync employees** [Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to schedule employee data syncs and keep employee accounts up to date in Engagedly. #### **5.3. Manual sync employees** You can manually sync employee data at any time or configure scheduled syncs to run automatically. To sync employees data after adding or updating employees in ZenHR: Navigate to **Settings \> Integrations \> ZenHR**. ###### **Option 1: Manual sync** 1. During each sync, Engagedly automatically: - Adds new employees. - Updates existing employee records. - Updates all mapped fields when their values change in ZenHR. 📒**Note:** Only employees in the selected branches sync to Engagedly. ###### **Option 2:  Schedule a sync** 1. Click **Schedule**. 2. Select the start date. 3. From the **Ends** drop-down, select one of the following: 4. **On:** Select an end date to stop the scheduled sync. 5. **Never:** Run the scheduled sync indefinitely. 6. Select the time when the sync should run. 7. Select the frequency of the sync. 8. Review the schedule summary displayed at the bottom of the dialog. 9. Click **Save**. **📒Note:** The employee sync runs automatically according to the configured schedule until the specified end date or indefinitely if “Never” is selected. #### **5.4. Sync status and reports** When the sync is initiated, you receive an email notification. After the sync completes, whether triggered manually or automatically, you receive an email notification that includes: - The number of employees successfully added or updated. - Any errors encountered during the sync. ### **6. Manage connection** You can manage the ZenHR integration with Engagedly at any time. ###### **Edit the connection** 1. Click the **Overflow ![Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM](https://help.engagedly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png?width=20&height=20&name=Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png) Menu** on the right. 2. Select **Edit**. 3. Make the necessary changes and save it. ###### **Disable the connection** 1. Select **Disconnect**. 3.
