Notifications in Butterfly

Butterfly sends notifications to employees, managers, and admins at different stages of the survey process. The notifications depend on the recipient and the event.

Employee notifications

Employees receive notifications through the delivery channel configured by the organization.

• When employees are added to a survey, they receive a notification through email, SMS, or Kiosk link.
• When a manager starts a conversation, employees receive a notification through email, SMS, or Kiosk link.

Manager and admin notifications

Managers and admins receive email notifications for the following events:

• Team members submit their survey responses, prompting managers and admins to view their dashboard.
• Team members respond to the conversation.
• The survey recap becomes available.
