Understand rewards and recognition in Engagedly
Engagedly provides a structured recognition system that uses badges, points, gamification rules, activities, leaderboards, and redeemable rewards to create a consistent and meaningful employee experience. The system standardizes recognition, ensures fairness, and connects acknowledgment to behaviors that support your organizational culture.
How points work in recognition
Engagedly uses points to assign measurable value to employee contributions. Employees earn points when they complete activities, receive badges or points, or demonstrate organizational values. Points accumulate over time, and employees redeem them for rewards configured by your organization, making recognition transparent and meaningful.
Key components
- Discretionary Badges: Managers or HR award badges and points to recognize noteworthy achievements.
- Activity (System) Badges: The system automatically awards points and badges when employees complete predefined actions.
- Gamification Rules: Rules define how points are assigned for specific activities, such as completing training or receiving recognition.
- Leaderboards: Rank employees based on points and badges earned to promote healthy competition.
- Point redemption: Employees can redeem points using custom rewards, Tango, and Switchfly based on your organization’s configuration and integrations. Custom rewards allow employees to redeem points for options, such as gift cards, experiences, or organization-branded items.
