Upload and manage your certificates
The “CERTIFICATES” section on your profile keeps all your professional certifications in one place. You can manually upload any certificate you earn outside your organization. If your organization enables certificate auto-sync, certificates you complete through Engagedly's learning app appear in this section automatically.
Upload a certificate
Upload a certificate to your Engagedly profile.
- Log in to Engagedly.
- Click your profile picture at the top right.
- Select My Profile.
The “About” tab opens by default and displays your profile information. Other available tabs include Work Profile, Performance, 360 Feedback, Feedback, Learning & Development, Documents, and Engagement.
5. Scroll down to the CERTIFICATES section.
6. Click Upload.

7. Enter the certificate name and issuing authority.
8. Click ATTACH and select a file.
9. Set the certificate issue date.
📒Note: The expiry date is optional. Leave it blank, or select "This certificate does not expire" if it does not apply.
10. Click UPLOAD.
The uploaded certificates appear in the “CERTIFICATES” section.
ℹ️Additional information:

Managers can also add certificates for their direct reports. Go to Home > My Team, select the employee, and scroll down to the CERTIFICATES section to upload a certificate for them.

Admins can also add certificates for employees. For more information, refer to Manage employee certificates.

Admins and managers can also edit, delete, or download certificates they upload for employees.

Employees can edit, delete, and download certificates from their profile, including certificates uploaded by admins or managers.

If your organization enables auto-sync, certificates earned through completed learning paths appear in the "CERTIFICATES" section automatically. You do not need to upload them manually.
Manage uploaded certificate
Edit or delete uploaded certificates at any time.
- Go to the CERTIFICATES section in the About tab.
- Hover over the certificate you want to manage.
- Do one of the following:

- Click the Download
icon to export the certificate to your local drive. -
Click the Edit
icon to update the certificate or its details. -
Click the Delete
icon to remove the certificate.
- Click the Download
📒Note: The download icon appears only if a certificate has an attached file.
View and update expired certificates
View expired certificates to identify certificates that require renewal or update.
- On the right, switch the toggle to Expired.
Only expired certificates are displayed.
2. (Optional) Edit, delete, or download the certificates as required.
📒Notes:

If you extend the certificate's expiry date or remove the expiry date, the certificate becomes active.
- If your organization has configured expiry reminders, the system sends reminder notifications when your certificates near their expiry date.
