# View pulse survey reports

Pulse survey reports help admins track engagement trends, response rates, mood scores, and team-level results across the organization.

#### **Access a pulse survey report**

Navigate to **Apps \> Butterfly EI \> Pulse.**

The report opens showing your organization's team-level results by default.

### **View report results**

At the top of the report, select a view:

- **Heatmap:** Displays results in a color-coded table to help you compare scores across teams.
- **Evolution over time:** Displays scores trends across survey cycles.

At the top:

- Click the **Settings** ![Settings-1](https://help.engagedly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Settings-1.png?width=20&height=20&name=Settings-1.png) icon to edit the survey.
- Click **See in Overview** to view the summarized dashboard of the survey.
- On the dashboard,
- Click a graph to view the relevant metrics for topics, spotlight, and highlights.
- Click **Go to Analysis** to return to the main page.
- Click **Download report**. The system emails the PDF report to you.

### **Filter and group results**

Use the following options to refine the results:

- **Group by:** Choose how to group survey results.
- **Date range:** Select a date range to view results for a specific period.
- **Filters:** Filter results based on employee attributes.
- **Search team by name:** Search for a specific team within the team hierarchy.

### **Read the report table**

The table displays results by team hierarchy (organization → business unit → team → direct reports).

**📒Note:** The hierarchy may change depending on the organization requirements.

Each row shows:

- **Team name:** Displays the team name and its headcount. Click the arrow next to a team to expand and view its sub-teams.
- **Response rate:** Displays the percentage of employees who responded, with a trend line and a comparison with the previous period.
- **Mood score:** Displays the team’s average mood score, with a trend line and a comparison with the previous period.

Use the expand or collapse icon above the table to view the full hierarchy at once.

#### **Break down results**

The “Breakdowns” panel at the bottom of the report provides more detail for the selected team:

- **Score:** View the score breakdown.
- **Top level delta:** Compare the team's score with the organization-wide score.
- **Previous delta:** Compare the team's current score with its score from the previous period.
- **Details:** Enable the toggle to view more detailed data.
- **Settings:** Configure how the breakdown is displayed.

### **Review comments and follow-up feedback**

Below the main report, use the following tabs to review survey results and feedback:

- **Report:** Return to the main scorecard view. To export the report, click **Export**. For more information, refer to [Export pulse survey reports](https://help.engagedly.com/export-pulse-survey-reports?hsLang=en).
- **Comments:** View open-ended comments submitted by employees during the survey.
- **Follow-up feedback:** View follow-up responses or action items related to the survey results.
