# Add and manage attendees in training

After [adding a session to the trai](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-slots-in-a-training-session?hsLang=en)[ning](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-slots-in-a-training-session?hsLang=en), authors can [add attendees](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#add-attend) to it and [manage](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#manage) them by [changing](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#change-status) [their status](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#change-status) and [unregistering](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#unregister) them.

Attendees are the learners added to a training session.

### Add attendee

You can add attendees to an instructor training in a course that is authored by you.

1. At the top right, click **Manage Resources**.
2. Click **Authored by you** and select a course.
3. Click the **Insights** tab and scroll down to the *Instructor Led Training Metrics *field.

You can view the training sessions.

  4.   Hover over the session and click **View**.

  5.   Click **Add Learners**, select the learners manually or in bulk, and then click **Save**.

***Note:*** *You can add attendees to a session who are learners in that course.*

***Note:*** *If you add learners to a session, they need not register for it, as adding attendees means registering them for the session.*

While adding learners, you can confirm their attendance.

Enable **Mark As Attended** or **Mark As Not Attended** and click **Submit**.

 You can skip this step and mark their attendance after the session or when required.

### Manage attendee

After adding attendees to training, you can manage them by changing their status or unregistering them as required.

Even if attendeeshave attended the training, their status remains *Pending* by default. The author or co-author must manually change their status to *Attended* or *Not Attended*. However, the attendees’ cannot change their status.

### **Change individual **attendees**’ status**

You can change individual attendees’ status.

  6.   In the *Status* field, select **Attended** or **Not Attended** in the *Pending* drop-down.

### **Change **attendees**’ status in bulk**

You can change attendees’ status manually or in bulk.

  6.   Click the **Overflow ![Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM](https://help.engagedly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png?width=20&height=20&name=Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png) Menu** at the top right and select **Change status as Attended**            or **Change status as Not Attended** as required.

  7.   Select the learners manually or in bulk.

  8.   Click **Attended** or **Not Attended** as required and then click **Confirm**.

### **Unregister learners’**

You can unregister learners from a training session.

  5.   Follow steps [1 to 4](https://help.engagedly.com/add-and-manage-attendees-in-training#one).

  6.   Click the **Overflow ![Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM](https://help.engagedly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png?width=20&height=20&name=Overflow%20Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM.png) Menu** at the top right and select **Unregister Learners**.

  7.   Select the learners manually or in bulk.

  8.   Click **Unregister** and click **Confirm**.

***Note:*** *The learners can also unregister from a training session if required.*

### **Export learners’ data**

You can export the learners’ data for reference.

  5.   Click **Export** on the right.
