Add and manage career paths
Career paths define the progression of job titles within a career path category. They show employees how their roles can evolve over time and what opportunities are available for growth. Creating career paths provides a structured roadmap that connects job titles to advancement opportunities, helping employees visualize their career journey.
Admins can add and manage career paths.
📒Note: Creating a career path category is a prerequisite for creating a career path.
Use career paths to:
- Illustrate progression from one job title to another
- Align career growth with organizational priorities
- Provide employees with clarity on advancement opportunities
Add a career path
Navigate to Apps > Growth > Settings.
- Go to Career Framework and ensure it is enabled.
- In the “Career paths” section, click Manage (if career paths exist).

The system redirects you to the career path framework page.
3. In the “CAREER PATHS” section, click the Plus
icon.

4. Enter a title and description.
5. Select a CP Type and click Add.

- Individual Contributor (IC): Roles focused on independent work without managerial responsibilities.
- Management: Roles involving team leadership and decision-making.
- None: Choose this if the category does not fit IC or Management.
Manage a career path
Hover over a career path and click the Overflow
Menu for additional actions:
- Edit: Modify the career path title, description, and CP type.
- Assign to Members: Assign the career path to individual or multiple employees.
- Assign to Groups: Assign the career path to a group.
- Details: A list of skills and competencies linked to job titles within the organization is available for reference and management.
- Move: Relocate the career path to another CP category.
- Delete: Remove the career path.
