Add and manage competency categories

Categories group related competencies by function, making it easier to organize and manage competencies in an organization.

Navigate to Apps > Growth > Settings.

  1. Go to Competency Framework and ensure it is enabled.
  2. In the “Competency library” section, click Manage.

     3.  Open the Add drop-down at the top right and select Category.

     4.  Enter a title and description and click Add to save it.

All fields support inline editing.

  • Select a category to edit its title or description.
  • After making edits, click the Tick Grey Tick icon to save it.
  • Hover over a category and click the Delete Delete Grey icon to remove it.

After creating a category, add competencies to it to assess employee capabilities and support performance evaluation. Refer to Add and manage competencies.
