Add and manage HR agent resources

The HR agent helps employees and HR teams by answering HR-related queries quickly and accurately. Employees can ask Marissa their questions and get instant responses without searching through policy documents or waiting for HR.

📒Note: The HR agent configuration is available only when “Marissa AI Access” is enabled.

Simplify daily HR activities

The HR agent reduces response times and improves HR efficiency by:

  • Answer common HR questions such as leave policies, benefits, and working hours.
  • Direct employees to the correct documents or resources.
  • Reduce repetitive queries for HR staff.
  • Ensure employees always have access to up-to-date HR information.

Configure HR agent resources

You can configure the HR agent by uploading training documents such as policies, handbooks, and guidelines. This ensures Marissa can answer employee queries accurately and provide citations when required.

Add training resources

Navigate to Settings > Marissa AI > HR Agent.

  1. In the “HR Agent” section, click Manage training resources.
  2. Click Add Resources.
  3. Select one of the following:
  • Upload File: Click Attach, upload a file, enter the description, and click Add.
  • Fetch From Link: Enter a title, description, and a public URL, and click Add.

đź“’Note: Add only public URLs that do not require login. Marissa cannot access restricted content.

Manage training resources

You can update or delete any existing resource from the list.

  1. In the “HR Agent” section, click View all resources.
  2. On the extreme right of a resource, select Update or Delete.

⚠️Warning: Deleting a resource permanently removes it from Marissa’s memory.

Review and manage responses

Admins can review queries and responses in the HR agent dashboard to ensure accuracy. If a response is incorrect, incomplete, or unanswered, you can update the answer directly from the dashboard.

The HR agent dashboard displays all unanswered employee queries in one place. This helps HR teams prioritize and resolve them quickly.

To view unanswered queries:
Navigate to Settings > Marissa AI > HR Agent.

  1. Scroll down to the “Refine responses” field to view the number of responses that need your action and those you have answered.
  2. Click View all on the right to open the “HR Agent Dashboard”.
  3. On the dashboard, locate the query that needs attention.
  4. Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM Menu and select Update Correction to update the response or Remove Correction to delete it.
