Add employees to a performance review cycle
After creating a performance review cycle, admins can add employees to it. This promotes transparency, engagement, and communication in the review process.
Add employees when:
- The cycle setup and configurations are complete.
- You need to include new hires or eligible employees in ongoing reviews.
- You want to ensure all relevant team members participate in the review process.
💡Tip: Add employees only after confirming the cycle configurations and assigning a template (if manual template assignment is enabled) to avoid rework or confusion.
Navigate to Apps > Performance > Cycles.
- Go to the tab where your cycle is listed: Focal Review, Hire Based Review, or Anniversary Based Review.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Manage for a cycle and then click ADD EMPLOYEES at the top right.
- Click the Overflow
Menu on the right side of a cycle and select Add Employees.

3. Select all or specific employees and click ADD to include them in the performance review cycle.
4. Click ADD again to confirm.
📒Note: You can select entire groups (such as departments, business units, or locations) or select individual employees, based on your review requirements. After adding, they immediately become part of the active cycle and can begin their assigned review activities.
