1. Introduction
Google Workspace SSO allows employees sign in to Engagedly using their Google credentials. This setup improves security, reduces password management, and simplifies access.
This integration helps admins centralize authentication, enable secure single sign-on, automatically manage user access, reduce login issues, and support requests.
📒Note: Admins and users with integration permissions are authorized to configure this integration.

📒Note: This document covers the integration setup for both Tangerine (V2) and Indigo (V3). Screenshots are captured from Indigo (V3), so the user interface may vary slightly in Tangerine.
2. Configure SAML SSO in Engagedly
Navigate to Settings > Integrations in Engagedly.
- In the "SSO" field, click SAML Single Sign On.
- Click ADD at the top right.
- Enter the identifier name as required, and click SAVE.

Engagedly generates the ACS URL and Entity ID.
3. Create the Google SAML app
- Log in to admin.google.com (Google Admin console).
- From the left navigation menu, go to Apps > Google Workspace > Web and mobile apps.
- Open the Add app drop-down and select Add custom SAMP app.

4. Enter the app name and click CONTINUE.
Google generates Identity Provider (IdP) details.
5. Click CONTINUE.

- Paste the ACS URL from Engagedly.
- Paste the Entity ID from Engagedly.
- Select the Name ID format.
📒Note: Use Email or Employee ID based on your Engagedly login method.
7. Click CONTINUE.
4. Add IdP details to Engagedly
- Open the created app in the Web and mobile apps.
- Click DOWNLOAD METADATA.
- Copy and paste the following:

4. (Optional) Click Test Connection to verify the setup.

5. Use the toggle to activate authentication using SAML.
6. Click SAVE.

5. Grant user access
Control who can use the application. You can give access to specific users, all users, or groups.
Users can now sign in to Engagedly using their Google Workspace credentials.
