Configure Marissa AI settings

1. Introduction
Marissa, Engagedly’s AI-powered assistant, designed to help admins, managers, and employees access information and interact with the platform effectively. It supports organizational productivity by answering employee queries, summarizing reviews, and providing actionable insights across various apps.
This section explains how to configure Marissa’s app access, manage individual AI agents (such as Performance, Multirater, and HR), and train Marissa using your organization’s resources.
Marissa can learn, adapt, and assist employees with their questions, offering valuable features, including providing comprehensive information on Engagedly products and relevant citations. Learn more in Marissa, your AI enablement coach.
2. App access
Configure who can access Marissa.
Navigate to Settings > Marissa.
- Toggle the button to enable Marissa App Access.
- Select one of the following options:
- Everyone: Allow all employees in the organization to access Marissa.
- Custom: Allow only selected employees or groups to access Marissa.
3. Agent configurations
Enable or disable app-specific AI agents (assistants) based on your organization’s requirements. Each agent provides contextual support and data-driven insights for the respective app.
Available agents include:
- Performance Agent: Simplifies the review process by helping employees write self-reviews and providing leaders with actionable insights.
- Multirater Agent: Provides 360 Feedback summaries and reports that help to track growth and identify development areas.
- HR Agent: Answers HR-related queries, including leave policies, best practices, and training resources.
📒Note: Agent configurations are only available when Marissa App Access is enabled.
Toggle the button next to each agent to enable or disable it.
4. HR agent dashboard
The HR agent dashboard displays all employee questions related to your organization or training resources.
Navigate to Settings > Marissa > View usage under the “HR Agent” field.
From this dashboard:
- View unanswered questions submitted by employees.
- Respond to questions directly. Once a response is added, Marissa uses it to answer similar questions automatically in the chat, ensuring consistent and accurate information delivery.
