Configure skill proficiency scale

A proficiency scale defines expertise levels for skills, from beginner to expert. It helps identify gaps, guide learning, development, and support succession planning.

Admins configure proficiency scales to standardize how skills are assessed across the organization.

Use a predefined scale

Engagedly provides a recommended proficiency scale that you can apply.

Navigate to Apps > Growth > Settings.

1. Go to Skills Framework and ensure it is enabled.
2. In the “Proficiency scale” section, click View recommended scales.
3. Click Use this to apply the scale.

Create a custom scale

You can create a custom proficiency scale to mtach your organization’s requirements.

1. In the “Proficiency scale” section, click Add your own.
2. Enter a title and description for each proficiency level.
3. Click + Add to include more levels or the Delete icon to remove a level.
4. Click Create to save the scale.

To edit

1. In the “Proficiency scale” section, click Manage.
2. Make necessary changes and click Save.
