Create a survey
Step 1: Start with a survey request
Initiate the process by specifying what you want to assess through Marissa.
Prompt: Can you help me assess employee satisfaction in the Seattle region?
Marissa generates a draft survey with a title, description, and organizes questions into relevant sections.
You review the draft and want to make changes to it.
Step 2: Update the draft
If a section or topic is missing, ask Marissa to add it.
Prompt: Add a section on “Team Collaboration” and include the questions, “Do you feel your team works well together to achieve common goals?” and “Do you feel supported by your teammates when working on projects?”
Marissa updates and shares the revised draft.
Step 3: Approve and create the survey
When you are satisfied with the draft, approve it.
Prompt: Looks good. Create the survey.
Marissa finalizes and creates the survey.
Step 4: Create the assignment
Marissa suggests the next steps, including:
- Setting up the assignment.
- Selecting respondents.
- Setting survey dates.
- Estimating the completion time.
You review the details and make changes as required.
Prompt: I approve the assignment details, but extend the due date by three more days.
Marissa updates the assignment details.
Step 5: Assign the survey
Assign the survey to a specific employee group, department, business unit, or location.
Prompt: Assign it to all active employees in the Seattle region, except those in the marketing department.
Marissa assigns the survey and confirms with you once the process is complete.
Step 6: Schedule a summary email (Optional)
Schedule an email summary of the survey results.
Prompt: Schedule an email with a summary of the survey results when the assignment closes.
