1. Introduction
The Groups module provides a virtual space where employees can join a group with similar interests, interact, share knowledge, and work together.
1.1 How does it Work
- You create a Group and add participants to the group.
- You can create posts to share updates and ideas within the group.
- You earn points for each post.
- Participants within the group receive notifications.
- Participants can like, comment, and react to the posts.
Note: If the Admins have enabled the Rewards and Gamification, only then employees can earn points.
1.2 User Actions
You can perform the following actions in Groups:
- Approve Pending Actions
- Create types of Groups
- Manage Activities in a Group
2. Approve Pending Actions
When a new participant requests to join an open group, the group admin will receive a pending action to approve or reject the request. Learn more in Approve new participant’s request.
Navigate to Home > Groups.
3. Create a Group
An employee can create the following groups in the organization:
- Open Group
- Closed Group
Navigate to Home > Groups.
4. Manage Activities in a Group
An employee can manage and perform these actions in groups as a group admin:
- Edit and delete a Group.
- Add and remove participants from the Group.
- View all the posts in the open and interest Groups.
Navigate to Home > Groups.
4.1 Edit and delete a Group
After creating a Group, you can edit the Group as required and delete it. Learn more in Manage a Group and its activities.
Navigate to Home > Groups.
4.2 Add and remove participants from the Group
You can add the participants to the Group only if you are a Group admin. Learn more in Manage a Group and its activities.
Navigate to Home > Groups.
4.3 View all the posts in the open and interest Groups
You can view all the posts in the open and interest Groups posted by other employees without joining them. Learn more in View other Group posts.
