How does the report calculate importance percentages for rater groups and blank responses?
A blank or unchecked checkbox counts as not important. The report includes every submitted response in the denominator for each item, even if the rater leaves all checkboxes blank.
The “All” percentage combines responses from all rater groups. It does not average the group percentages, so larger groups have more influence.
Example:
|
Rater group |
Checked / Submitted |
Importance % |
|
Manager |
1 / 1 |
100% |
|
Peers |
2 / 6 |
33% |
|
All |
3 / 7 |
43% |
If no rater marks an item as important, the report displays 0%, not a blank value or N/A.
