Initiate a conversation in team pulse

After submitting responses, employees can view their manager’s review. If they have any concerns or need clarification, they can initiate a conversation for a specific question.

Admins, managers, and employees can initiate conversations for any question if they want to discuss ratings or responses.

Access based on role

Employees: Navigate to Apps > Team Pulse > My Checkins.

Managers: Navigate to Apps > Team Pulse > Select a team > Select an employee.

Admins: Navigate to Apps > Team Pulse > My Org > Select an employee.

Note: The Chat Chat grey icon is available only after managers review the responses.

To initiate a conversation:

  1. Under a question, click the Chat Chat grey icon.
  2. Enter your comment and click the Send send (1)-1 icon to post it.

Add participants

You can add participants who are relevant to the conversation or whose input is required.

  1. Click the Plus undefined-Jan-16-2026-06-23-51-6122-AM icon.
  2. Select participants and click Add.
