1. Introduction
Engagedly allows admins to manage email and in-app notifications sent to employees across various apps such as Feedback, Goals, Learning, and more. These notifications inform employees about key actions, updates, and reminders.
Admins can enable or disable notifications for specific events. These settings apply to everyone in the organization, except those who have already customized their preferences.
Customizing notifications ensures employees receive only relevant information, aligning with their organization’s communication policies.
Employees may receive:
- App-specific notifications: Updates and actions within individual modules.
- Digest emails: Summaries of employee activities across the platform.
- Birthday alerts: To encourage team bonding and engagement.
- Work anniversary: To recognize long-term contributions.
📒Note: If an employee's hire date or birthdate is February 29, our system automatically considers it as February 28 in non-leap years. Any 30-day, 60-day, or work anniversary reviews based on the hire date are also conducted on February 28 during non-leap years.
By default, notifications are enabled for all apps. Disable or enable them for each app as required. Employees can also customize their notification preferences based on specific actions within each module.
2. Disable notifications
Navigate to Settings > Notifications.
For apps in bulk: Click Disable at the top and confirm DISABLE to turn off notifications for all apps.
For individual apps: Deselect the selected apps to turn off notifications and click SAVE.
📒Note: Employees in your organization do not receive any notifications if disabled.
3. Enable notifications
Navigate to Settings > Notifications.
For apps in bulk: Click Enable at the top and confirm ENABLE to turn on the notifications.
For individual apps: Select the apps to enable notifications and click SAVE.
4. Manage notifications based on specific actions
All employees can manage their email notifications triggered by specific actions within the platform.

The “Preferences” tab appears by default.
2. In the “NOTIFICATIONS” section, disable or enable options as required.
3. Click SAVE at the bottom right to apply your changes.
