1. Introduction

Engagedly offers an intuitive platform that streamlines administrative tasks. The settings page is a centralized location for admins to configure and manage key platform features.

From the settings page, admins can:

  • Control organization-wide preferences
  • Manage employee roles and permissions
  • Automate workflows and configure notifications
  • View activity logs
  • Customize features across various Engagedly apps

2. Settings overview

Settings are grouped into the following categories, making it easy to locate and update configurations related to your organization’s structure, integrations, and automation.

Navigate to Settings on the left pane.

The overview provides a snapshot of platform activity, such as:

  • Number of active users
  • Number of departments, business units, and locations
  • Job titles, competencies, feedback categories, and discretionary badges
  • Pending invoices and enabled apps
  • Employee additions and departures in the last 30 days
  • A link to the knowledge base for more information

From the overview page, click each item to go directly to its section, saving navigation time. App-specific sections provide insights into various Engagedly applications and their related activities.

3. Left navigation menu

The menu below follows the overview, organizing all configuration areas:

🔹 Global settings: Manage organization-wide settings such as password policy, time zone, language preferences, employee fields, login screen settings, and color themes. Learn more in Overview of global settings.

🔹 Growth: Configure skills, interests, and endorsements.

🔹 Coaching: Create and manage topics, configure private coaching, and add coaches.

🔹 Feedback: Customize categories, visibility, and sharing.

🔹 Goals: Configure goal cycles, visibility, unit types, and categories.

🔹 Groups: Create and manage smart groups, set rules, and manage features.

🔹 Learning: Create and manage course categories and tags, and configure course creation.

🔹 Performance: Configure manager ratings and add training recommendations.

🔹 Resource centre: Control app-specific information accessible to employees.

🔹 Rewards: Configure points and badges, define budget period and points, and custom rewards.

🔹 Social: Configure the welcome post and social features.

🔹 Suggestion box: Set anonymity preferences.

🔹 Survey: Configure survey creation settings.

🔹 Talent profile: Manage role readiness assessments.

💡Tip: Changes in settings may affect multiple employees and apps. Review changes before saving.
