Praise the goal owner

Praise allows you to publicly recognize goal owners for their efforts and contributions within the organization’s social forum. It acknowledges the hard work put into achieving goals, boosting morale, developing motivation, and promoting a positive work environment.

📒Note: If you have an active subscription to Engagedly’s Feedback module, you can praise.

Goal creators and assigners can praise the goal owners whenever they complete a goal or demonstrate outstanding performance toward achieving one.

Admins can praise employees, business unit admins, and department admins who are goal owners at any time.

Managers can praise the goal owners who are their direct reports as part of regular feedback or after goal achievements.

📒Note: As a goal owner, you do not have the Public Praise option for your own goals.

Navigate to Apps > Goals.

Perform the following actions based on your role and the goal owners you prefer to praise:

Goal creator or assigner (Individual goal)

  1. Go to My Goals > Assigned by Me tab.

Admin (Top-level goal)

  1. Go to Top Level Goals.

2.   Click a goal to open the Goal Details page.

The goal card appears on the left, and selected goal details display on the right.

3.   Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM Menu at the top right of a goal and select Public Praise.

4.   Type the praise message.

5.   Type relevant tags to categorize your praise (Optional).

6.   Attach images from the Picture Library or upload other images or documents from My Computer (Optional).

7.   Click POST to share your praise publicly.

You can enable Marissa AI when praising employees.

After step 3, perform the following actions:

4. Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-4 Menu at the top right and select Enable Marissa.

5. Type a reason for recognizing employees’ achievements and select the praise style.

6. Click GENERATE.

If you are not satisfied with the suggestions, you can regenerate them.

Praise by selecting an employee

Perform the following actions based on your role and the goal owners you prefer to praise:

  1. Click the drop-down, select My Org, and select an employee.

Manager (Direct report’s goal)

  1. Click the drop-down, select a team, and select an employee.

  2.   Click a goal.

  3.   Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM Menu at the top right of a goal and select Public Praise.

  4.   Follow the same procedure from step 4 as required.
