Sign off on a performance review

The sign-off process allows employees, managers, and HR admins (if included) to electronically confirm and close a performance review.

Signing off ensures that

  • Employees acknowledge and agree with their manager’s ratings and comments.
  • Managers confirm the accuracy of the ratings and comments they provided for their direct reports.

After all participants submit their reviews, those with sign-off permissions receive notifications to complete the process.

Sign-off formally concludes the review cycle and ensures that all participants have validated and acknowledged the final feedback. It maintains transparency and accountability in the evaluation process.

Access your review form

Access the review form in any of the following ways:

  • From the "Dashboard", click Start under pending actions.
  • Click the Bell Bell Grey-2 icon at the top right and select the performance review notification.
  • Open the review email notification and click View.
  • Employees and managers: Navigate to Apps > Performance > My Reviews, and then click Sign-Off under “Ongoing Reviews”.

Admins: Navigate to Apps > Performance > Cycles.

  1. Go to the tab that lists your cycle and click Manage.
  2. Click the File View Form icon on the right side to open an employee's review form.

How to sign off

  1. Open the review form.
  2. Scroll down to the “Sign Off” section.
  3. Click SIGN OFF and then click YES to confirm.

View sign-off history

After signing off, you can view or hide the sign-off history.

  1. Scroll down to the “Sign Off” section.
  2. Click View Sign-off history.

The history displays:

  • Date and details of each action.
  • Employee resolution requests and comments (if any)
  • Resolution updates
  • Sign off from the employee, manager, and admin
