Understand importance rating in 360 feedback report
Importance rating shows the percentage of submitted raters who marked each competency, behavior, or category as “Important”. It reflects what raters consider important for the employee's success in their role. Use these ratings alongside competency scores to identify development areas. Importance rating is not a score.
Where it is configured
Importance rating is optional. Admins can configure it in two places.

📒Note: To enable importance rating, first enable the “Job Competency” section in the template.
How importance rating is calculated
Importance rating (%) = (Raters who selected Important ÷ Raters who submitted the form) X 100
Only raters who submitted the form are included in the calculation. Raters who did not submit, declined, or opted out are not included.
A blank checkbox means the rater did not mark the item as important. Because there is no separate “No opinion” option, every submitted rater is included in the denominator, even if they leave all checkboxes blank.
If no submitted rater selects an item as “Important”, the item shows 0%.

All and rater groups
The percentage for each rater group is calculated using only the raters in that group who submitted the form.
For example, if 2 of 3 peers select a competency as “Important”, the importance rating for the peer group is 67%.
The “All” percentage is calculated using the responses from all included rater groups. It is not an average of the group percentages. As a result, groups with more submitted raters have a greater influence on the All percentage.

In this example, “All” is 43%, not 66.5%, because it combines all 7 submitted responses into one calculation.
Self is not included in “All”. The person's own importance rating selections appear separately.
