What happens when vague searches are entered in talent discovery?

When admins enter vague searches in talent discovery (for example, “good employees,” “all soft skills,” or “strong people”), the system does not rely on exact keywords. Instead, it interprets the intent using available talent signals.

The AI evaluates indicators such as performance ratings, skill proficiency levels, competency ratings, and high-potential markers (if available) to understand the requirements. It then ranks employees based on how well they match these inferred qualities.

Because the query is not specific, the results may appear broad. Admins can refine the results by adding more specific keywords or applying filters.
