1. Introduction

Only admins can configure talent management settings for the organization. These settings help admins define and organize skills, competencies, and career frameworks, enabling employees to track their development, close skill gaps, and grow within the organization through the growth hub.

2. Access talent management

Navigate to Settings > Talent Management.

Configure the following settings:

📒Notes:

  • If you already have skills, competencies, and job titles created in your organization, they are saved as uncategorized if they are created without a category or if no category is assigned during creation.
  • Click Manage in the respective section to categorize them and add a category to organize skills, competencies, and job titles effectively.
  • If you have existing categories, you can add uncategorized skills, competencies, and job titles to their respective categories.

3. Growth hub

The growth hub is a centralized platform that helps employees track their skills, competencies, and career development. It enables targeted learning, identifies skill gaps, and supports career growth within the organization.

Scroll down to the “Growth Hub” section.

3.1. Growth components

In the “Components” section, enable or disable the following settings at any time as required:

  • By default, all employees, managers, and admins can create IDPs and add milestones.
  • Enable Interests, allowing employees to view the Interest field on their growth hub and add their interests.
  • Enable Motivators, allowing employees to view the Motivators field on their growth hub and add their motivations.
  • Enable Allow custom skills, allowing employees to create skills that are not available in the organization's skill library.

📒Note: If enabled, the skills employees add to their growth profiles automatically appear as uncategorized in the organization's skill library.

3.2. Skill endorsement visibility

In the “Who can endorse members skill proficiency” field, select who can view and update skill endorsements:

  • Employee only
  • Employee and Managers
  • Entire Organization
  • None (Skills remain visible but cannot be endorsed.)

💡Tip: If endorsements or validation are not required, select None to keep skills confidential.

3.3. Reward points

In the “When can you reward points” section, enable Award points to the employees on completion of IDPs and set the point value.

Prerequisites: An active subscription to Engagedly’s Rewards module is required to access reward points.

Edit points or disable this option at any time.

3.4. Notifications

Remind employees to update their talent profiles monthly, quarterly, or biannually.
