Request and share feedback on a goal

Goal owners can request feedback at any time during the goal cycle to gain clarity, align expectations, and improve performance.

Managers can provide timely, contextual feedback on ongoing goals, helping individuals stay on track and continue to improve. This continuous feedback loop strengthens accountability and promotes open communication.

📒Note: If you have an active subscription to Engagedly’s Feedback module, you can request and share feedback.

Goal creators, assigners, and the goal owners can request feedback from anyone in the organization.

Admins can request feedback on any employee’s goals, while managers can request feedback on their direct reports’ goals.

📒Note: If goal visibility is restricted, others cannot view goal details, but they can still share their feedback when requested.

Navigate to Apps > Goals.

Perform the following actions based on your role and the goal owners you prefer to request feedback from or share feedback with:

Goal creator, assigner, or owner (Individual goal)

My Goals > Assigned by Me tab.

Admin (Top-level goal)

Go to Top Level Goals.

Admin (Individual goal)

Select My Org > Select an employee.

Manager (Direct report’s goal)

Select a team > Select an employee.
  1. Click a goal to open the "Goal Details" page.

The goal card appears on the left, and the selected goal details appear on the right.

  2.   Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM Menu at the top right of a goal and select Request Feedback or Share Feedback as required.

📒Note: As a goal owner, you do not have the "Share Feedback" option for your own goals.

3. Search and select the employee you want to request feedback from and type your request.

4. Search and select the feedback categories and click REQUEST.

Share feedback

3. Enter your feedback and select the appropriate feedback type.

4. Select the feedback categories.

5. Set the feedback visibility and click SHARE.

You can enable Marissa AI when sharing feedback.

After step 3, perform the following actions:

4. Click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM Menu at the top right and select Enable Marissa.

5. Select the feedback type and type the situation, behavior, and impact.

6. Click PROCEED and then click SHARE.

If you are not satisfied with the suggestions, edit your input to regenerate them.
