Add custom questions for a survey

Only admins can add custom questions to the custom library when the questions they need are not available in the Butterfly library.

You can create questions that are specific to your organization's requirements and add them to your survey.

Navigate to Apps > Butterfly EI.

1. Open the survey where you want to add questions.
2. Go to Add questions > Custom Library.
3. Click Add custom question.
4. Enter the question text.
5. Select a question type: Single/Multi Choice, Open Ended, Rating, eNPS, or Thumbs Up/Down. For information about configuring each question type, refer to Additional information.
6. (Optional) Click Add Follow Up Question to add a conditional follow-up question.
1. Enter the follow-up question text.
2. (Optional) Enable Optional if the follow-up question is not mandatory.
3. Under Ask when, select the answer choice that should trigger the follow-up question.
4. Select a question type. For information about configuring each question type, refer to Additional information.
5. Click Add Follow Up Question to add another follow-up question, or click the Delete icon to remove one.
7. Click Save question.
8. Under each question, open the drop-down to:

• • Change the question category.
  • Select the condition to specify when the question appears.
  • Enable Optional if the question is not mandatory.

     9.   (Optional) Select and reorder questions as required.

    10.   (Optional) Enable Paginate questions by category to show one category per survey page.

    11.   Click Next.
