Create a nurture event for notifications
Admins and managers can add an event to a nurture stream milestone to collect feedback from employees at a specific point in their journey. The event is triggered based on the nurture stream's configured base date.
1. Add an event
Navigate to Apps → Butterfly EI → Nurture.
- Select the nurture stream where you want to add an event.
- Click Add Event on the milestone where the event should trigger.
- Select the event type:
- Create survey to collect feedback from employees. For more information, refer to Create a nurture event for survey.
- Create notification to send a notification to employees.
⚠️ Warning: If you navigate away from the creation page before submitting the stream, your entries are not saved.
The remaining steps apply when you select Create notification.
2. Define milestone and trigger
- In the "Milestone & trigger" step, set the From and to range for when the survey can trigger relative to the stream's base date. For example, set from Day 1 to Unlimited.
- Under Results & reports, configure how frequently results are grouped on the dashboard and set the Trigger Evaluation Time.
- (Optional) Enable Show disclaimer page to employees before they start the survey and enter the disclaimer text.
- Click Next.
3. Set up the notification
- Enter a title and message to introduce the survey to employees.
- (Optional) Enable Send description in all supported languages to users whose language is unknown.
- (Optional) Enable Hide survey expiration time in invite.
- Click Next.
4. Manage translations
- Review the auto-generated translations under General.
- Edit translations as required.
- Click Next.
5. Complete the notification setup
- Enter a name for the notification. The name is visible only to you, not to employees.
- (Optional) Enter a description.
- Click Submit to create the event.
The new event appears as a tile on the nurture stream timeline under the milestone you configured.
- Use the toggle on the event tile to enable or disable it.
- Click Report to view results after the event is live.
