Create and manage a post
Employees can create posts to share status updates, ideas, and knowledge and ask for help from anyone in the organization.
You can manage your post if required.
You can create the following types of posts based on admin permissions:
- Share status: Anyone in the organization can like and comment on your status updates. When you share a status update, you earn one point, and an additional point for each like or comment you receive on your post.
- Ask for help: Anyone in the organization can like and comment on your status updates. When you ask for help, you earn one point. The employees who add comments to your help earn five points, and they also earn 10 points if you acknowledge their comments.
- Share an idea: Anyone in the organization can upvote, downvote, and comment on your ideas. When you share an idea, you earn five points and an additional one point for each comment you receive on their posts.
- Share knowledge: Anyone in the organization can like and comment on your knowledge sharing. When you share knowledge, you earn five points and an additional one point for each like and comment you receive on your posts.
Note: The points may vary based on admin settings in the Rewards module.
You can control the audience while you create the posts. You can select specific employees, groups, or everyone within the organization.
Create a post
You can create posts on the social feed.
Navigate to Home > Social.
- Click POST at the top right.
Or click the Plus Icon at the top left and select Post.
2. Select the Post Type.
3. Type the description in the Add Status field.
4. Search and select the employees in the Share With field.
5. Type relevant Tags to help categorize your post, which is optional.
6. Attach images to your post from the Picture Library or attach other images or documents from My Computer, which is optional.
Note: Anyone can like your post as well as any images or files shared within it separately.
7. Click POST to post on the social feed.
When you post on social with attachments or images and share them, recipients will receive an email notification with the attachments or images included.Manage a post
After creating a post, you can manage it by editing and deleting it anytime.
Navigate to Home > Social.
Click the Overflow Menu at the top right of the post, and select Edit or Delete as required.
Note: You can edit and delete your post only.
