Create a smart group
You can create a Smart Group that automatically adds the employees to a Group based on the following:
- Location
- Job title
- Manager
- Business unit.
- Department
- Birthday
- Date of hire
- Last promotion date
- Next review date
Note: Only the admins can create a Smart Group.
Navigate to Settings > Groups > Smart Groups.
- Click CREATE SMART GROUP.
- In the ADD window, type the Group name in the Smart Group field and the Group description in the Description field.
- Click ADD RULE, and select the Rule Type, Rule Action, and Rule Value.
- Click ADD.
Note: You can add multiple “Rules” to the Group.
