Create a smart group

You can create a Smart Group that automatically adds the employees to a Group based on the following:

  • Location
  • Job title 
  • Manager
  • Business unit.
  • Department
  • Birthday
  • Date of hire
  • Last promotion date
  • Next review date

Note: Only the admins can create a Smart Group.

Navigate to Settings > Groups > Smart Groups.

  1. Click CREATE SMART GROUP.

  2. In the ADD window, type the Group name in the Smart Group field and the Group description in the Description field.

  3. Click ADD RULE, and select the Rule Type, Rule Action, and Rule Value.
  4. Click ADD.

Note: You can add multiple “Rules” to the Group.
