Slack Interactive Messages

Slack Actionable Messages are interactive messages that allow users to take action on the message without leaving the Slack interface. These messages can contain buttons and other interactive elements that enable users to perform tasks.

Slack Actionable Messages can be a powerful tool for improving productivity and streamlining workflows within Slack, allowing users to complete tasks quickly and easily without switching between different applications.

Engagedly's integration with Slack allows you to perform actions from Slack without switching to the Engagedly application.

You can perform the following actions from your Slack without switching to the Engagedly application:

• Submit team pulse response

• Share requested feedback

• View and add comment to a feedback

• View and add Comment on a praise post

• Like and comment on a social post

• Upvote and downvote on a social post

To submit team pulse response:

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click Respond Now on the team pulse response request.

Step 2: Respond to all the team pulse questions and click Submit to submit your response.

To share requested feedback:

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click Share Feedback on the feedback request to share your feedback.

Step 2: The "Share Feedback" window opens, select the feedback type and enter your feedback.

Step 3: Click Submit to share your feedback.

To view and add comments to feedback:

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click View Feedback on the feedback to add a comment.

Step 2: The user can view the shared feedback. Type your comment in the comment box.

Step 3: Click Comment to add the comment to the feedback.

To view and add comments on a praise post:

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click React on the praise message to add a comment.

Step 2: The user can view the shared praise. Type your comment in the comment box.

Step 3: Click Submit to add the comment to the praise post.

To like and comment on a social post: 

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click the button to like the social post.

Step 2: Click the button to comment on the social post.

Step 3: Type your comment in the comment box and click Submit to add your comment.

To upvote or downvote a shared idea on social:

Step 1: Go to the “Engagedly” app in Slack and click the button to upvote the shared idea.

Step 2: Click the button to downvote the shared idea.
