What is the difference between archiving and deleting a course?

Archiving a course:

  • Removes the course from active listings.
  • Retains all its content for future retrieval.
  • Not visible to learners.
  • Accessed by authors and co-authors only.
  • Learners’ progress will reset upon unarchiving recurring courses. However, for other courses, learner progress will restore to its previous state at the time of archival.

Deleting a course:

  • Permanently remove the course and all associated content.
  • It cannot be recovered.
  • Learners' reports are lost.
