Who is the skip-level manager? What is their role in the performance review process?
The manager’s manager is the skip-level manager. HR/admin can add the skip-level manager to the performance review process in process configuration from the cycle settings. The skip-level manager can either rollback, edit, or approve the manager’s review.
- If the HR/admins enable the option Approve, the skip-level reviewer can either approve the manager’s review or roll it back.
- If the HR/admins enable the option Edit Manager Review, the skip-level reviewer can edit the manager’s review and approve it.
