Add and manage section and course to learning path
After creating a learning path, authors must add sections to it. Within a section, they can add courses authored by them or others.
For Engagedly V1, navigate to Learning from the top. |
For Engagedly V2, navigate to Apps on the left pane and select Learning. |
Add section
After creating a learning path, you are redirected to the learning path edit page to add sections.
You can also perform the following actions to add them.
- Click Manage Resources at the top right.
- Click Authored by you and select a learning path.
- In the Content tab, you can perform the following:
- Click Untitled Section, type the section name, and click the Tick Icon to save it.
- Click Description, type the description for the section, and click the Tick Icon to save it.
After can add multiple sections in a learning path to group related topics, providing a clear structure and seamless learning experience.
- Click Add Section to add another section.
Add course
After adding a section, you must add courses to it. You can add courses authored by you or published by others.
After adding a section, you will stay on the learning edit page to add courses.
You can also perform the following steps to add them.
4. Select a section on the left and click Add Course.
When adding courses, you can filter and search for them based on criteria such as:
- Library status
- Skills
- Competencies
- Tags
- Language
- Duration
- Rating
- Provider
- Certification
5. Select the courses and click Add Courses at the top right.
The courses are added successfully within a section.
Manage section and course
After adding a section and course, you can edit or delete them if required.
4. In the Content tab, select a section on the left.
5. Click the section name and description.
6. Edit them as required and click the Tick Icon to save them.
7. Click the Delete Icon on the right side of the description to delete it.
Note: Deleting a section deletes the courses within it.
8. Drag the Six Dot Icon on the left to rearrange the sections and courses within it.
The changes are auto-saved.
After adding sections and courses to a learning path, you must publish it. Once published, you can push it to the library, choosing its visibility settings: make it available for everyone, specific groups, or keep it private.
