Publish learning path
After adding sections and courses to a learning path, authors must publish it. Once published, they can push it to the library, choosing its visibility settings: make it available for everyone, specific groups, or keep it private. This ensures the learning path effectively reaches the intended audience.
Note: You can publish the learning path only if you create it.
For Engagedly V1, navigate to Learning from the top. |
For Engagedly V2, navigate to Apps on the left pane and select Learning. |
After adding sections and courses, you remain on the learning path edit page, where you can publish the learning path.
You can also perform the following actions to publish it.
- At the top right, click Manage Resources and then click Add.
- Select an unpublished learning path, click Publish at the top right, and then click Publish.
Note: You must publish the learning path to assign it to the learners.
While publishing the learning path, you can manage its visibility by pushing it to the library with one of the following options:
- Everyone: Make the learning path visible to all employees.
- Specific Groups: Restrict visibility to selected groups.
- Private: Restrict visibility to admins and learning managers only.
Select the option to push the learning path to the library and click Save.
After publishing the learning path, the Info, Learners, and Insights tabs appear on the learning path details page.
You can change the learning path visibility at any time.
In the Info tab, click below the Learning Path Visibility and make the necessary changes as required.
Note:
- If the learning path’s visibility is set to all, learners can view all courses in the learning path, even if one of the courses is restricted.
- If a co-author does not have visibility to a course in a learning path, they can still view and edit the learning path, but they cannot preview or edit the restricted course.
