Assign, unassign, and share performance templates

After adding employees to the cycle, HR/admins can assign them the template. While configuring the cycle, you can allow managers to assign and share the template with employees. After assigning a template, unassign it if required.

You can assign the template to individual or multiple employees. Filter the employees based on the departments, business units, or locations and assign different templates to different employees as required.

Note: You cannot assign multiple templates to an employee.

Navigate to Performance > Cycles.

Assign template to individual employee

  1. Click MANAGE.
  2. In the Template Status column, click the Plus add Icon to assign the template to individual employees.
  3. Select the template and click ASSIGN.

  1.   Click MANAGE and click ACTIONS

  2.   Select Assign and click SELECT.

  3.   Select the employees individually or in bulk as required, and click ASSIGN.

  4.   Select the template and click ASSIGN.

Note: While creating a cycle, in the Process Configuration step, if you have selected AUTOMATIC to share the template, the employees can view it after assigning it to the cycle.

Share template with the employees

After assigning the template, you have to share it with the employees. While creating a cycle, in the Process Configuration, if you have selected MANUAL to share the template, you have to assign and share the template manually.

You can share the template with an individual or multiple employees.

Navigate to Performance > Cycles.

  1.   Click MANAGE.

  2.   Hover over the employee, and in the Shared column, click the Forward share Icon.

  3.   Click SHARE.

  1.   Click MANAGE and click ACTIONS.

  2.   Select Share and click SELECT.

Filter employees based on their reviewer’s name, manager’s name, and job title and share the template as required.

  3.   Select the individual employees or in bulk as required, click SHARE, and again click SHARE.

Unassign template

You can modify the template at any time. However, you must unassign the template and reassign it for the employees to view the modified template.

Note: Unassigning the template will delete the review progress of the employees.

Follow the above steps to unassign the template for individual and multiple employees, making the template unavailable for them.

Note: You have to click Unassign and/or UNASSIGN in the respective steps to complete the action.

After assigning the template, you must share it with employees.
