Configure Feedback Settings

Admins can configure Feedback settings and manage them:

Settings

You can manage the General and Visibility settings.

Navigate to Settings > Feedback > Settings.

General

You can manage the following features in the General settings:

  • Categories for feedback: If enabled, employees can select the Feedback categories while sharing the Feedback.
    • Manage categories: You can manage Feedback categories for the organization.

Click MANAGE to edit, delete, and add the Feedback categories.

      • Edit Feedback Category: You can edit a Feedback category anytime, updating the category title and description.
        Click the Overflow Menu, select Edit, make the necessary changes, and click EDIT.
      • Delete Feedback Category: You can delete a Feedback category anytime. The deleted category is not available for the employees while sharing the Feedback.
        Click the Overflow Menu and select Delete.
      • Add Feedback Category: You can add a new Feedback category anytime. The added category is available for the employees while sharing Feedback.
        Click +ADD CATEGORY, type the category title and description, and click ADD.
    • Mandatory category selection by users: If enabled, the Feedback givers must select the category to share the Feedback.
  • Enable anonymous feedback: If enabled, the Feedback providers can make their Feedback anonymous.
  • Mandatory feedback type selection by users: If enabled, the employees must select the Feedback type while sharing the Feedback.
  • Show Dashboards: If enabled, the managers and employees can view the dashboard with statistical data.

Visibility

You can manage the following features in the Visibility settings:

  • Enable feedback visibility for others: If enabled, the Feedback providers can select other employees to view the Feedback.
  • Enable the permission to View feedback of all employees: If enabled, the employees with admin permissions can view the Feedback shared throughout the organization, including the names of the Feedback providers who made it anonymous.
  • Visibility to managers: If enabled, the managers can view their direct report's Feedback based on the settings enabled by the admin.
    The following features control the visibility of the Feedback to the managers: 
    • Always visible: If enabled, the managers can view their direct report's Feedback. You can also make the Feedback visible to both direct and skip-level managers.
    • Giver's choice: If enabled, the Feedback providers can choose if they want the managers to view their direct report's Feedback. You can also make the Feedback visible to both direct and skip-level managers.
    • Invisible: If enabled, the managers cannot view the shared Feedback of their direct reports. Feedback givers can specify the manager's name in the Others field to make the Feedback visible to the manager.

Features

You can manage the following features:

Navigate to Settings > Feedback > Features.

  • Enable Share/Request Feedback: You can enable or disable the share/request Feedback for the employees.

Note: If disabled, the employees cannot share and request Feedback.

  • Enable Praise: You can enable or disable the praise feature for the employees.

Note: If disabled, the employees cannot praise others in the organization.
