Create and manage IDP

Employees can create IDPs to take an active role in their professional development, set personalized goals, and identify the skills and training they need to advance their careers. This process empowers employees to take ownership of their growth and align their development plans with the organization’s objectives.

Marissa AI recommends IDPs tailored to your current and desired roles.

After creating the IDPs,

Navigate to Growth on the left pane.

Create IDP

You can create IDPs for yourself.

  1. Click Add at the top right.

  2.   Type the title and description.

You can click the Marissa AI Marissa Icon to create the description.

  3.   Set the start and end dates.

  4.   Select skills and competencies, and click Save.

Note: You can view the Skills and Competencies fields if the admin configures them in the settings.

After creating IDPs, you can view them in the All IDPs tab and filter them by status.

Click the Filter Filter-4 Icon at the top right.

Click the drop-down, select the IDPs as required, and click Apply.

After creating an IDP, you can add milestones to measure your progress toward the IDP. Learn more in Add and manage milestones.

Recommend IDP

Marissa AI can recommend IDPs for you based on your current and desired roles.

Note: Marissa can recommend IDPs for you based on your current role only if you have not specified a desired role in the career aspirations survey.

  1. After navigation, click the Recommended IDPs tab.
  2. Review the recommended IDPs and their milestones, and click Add next to the IDP.

  3.   Type the title and description.

You can click the Marissa AI Marissa Icon to create the description.

  4.   Set the start and end dates.

  5.   Select skills and competencies, and click Save.

Note: You can view the Skills and Competencies fields if the admin configures them in the settings.

You can remove the milestone by clicking the cancel Close-2 icon beside it.

Create and manage IDP4

After adding the recommended IDPs, you can view them in the All IDPs tab.

Manage IDP

After creating an IDP, you can manage it by marking it as completed, editing it, putting it on hold, and deleting it.

After navigation, click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM Menu on an IDP and select the option as required.

Note:

  • You can manage IDPs, irrespective of who creates them for you.
  • After putting the IDP on hold, you can resume it by following the same procedure.

    You can also manage IDPs in another way.

    After navigation, click an IDP that you want to manage, click the Overflow Overflow Menu-Nov-20-2023-05-10-31-0841-AM Menu at the top, and select the option as required.

    View IDP details

    After creating IDPs, you can view their details and their statuses

    Resource center

    Navigate to Performance > Manage.

    1. Click the Process tab and click the View Form View Form Icon for an employee to open their review form.
    2. Click Growth on the resource center at the bottom of the review form to open the IDP details.

    Talent profile

    You can also view the IDP details and their statuses in your talent profile.

    1. Navigate to Talent Profile on the left pane.
    2. Scroll down to the Growth field.
