1. Introduction
The Groups module provides a virtual space where employees can join a group with similar interests, interact, share knowledge, and work together.
1.1 How does it Work
- You create a Group and add participants to the group.
- You and the participants can create posts to share updates and ideas within the Group.
- You must enable Rewards and Gamification for the employees to earn points for each post.
- Participants within the Group receive notifications.
- Participants can like, comment, and react to the posts.

- Create different types of Groups

2. Configuration Settings
You can manage the following features under admin settings:
- Smart Groups
- Features
2.1 Smart Groups
The Smart group will automatically add the employees based on the following:
- Location
- Job title
- Manager
- Business unit
- Department
- Birthday
- Date of hire
- Last promotion date
- Next review date
Navigate to Settings > Groups > Smart Groups.
2.2 Features
The Groups Features provides options to activate the following features for the employees:
- Open Group
- Closed Group
- Smart Group
Navigate to Settings > Groups > Features.

3. Approve Pending Actions
When a new participant requests to join an open Group, the group admin will receive a pending action to approve or reject the request. You can also view the pending action and approve or reject the request.
Navigate to Admin > Groups.
4. Create a Group
An admin can create the following groups in the organization:
- Open Group
- Closed Group
- Interest Group
- Smart Group
Navigate to Admin > Groups.
For Smart Group,
Navigate to Settings > Groups > Smart Groups.
5. Manage Activities in a Group
As an admin, you have access to manage the group activities, and you can also perform these actions in the groups created by others.
- Edit and delete a Group.
- Add and remove participants from the Group.
- View closed Groups and their participants.
- View all the posts in the Groups.
Navigate to Admin > Groups.
5.1 Edit and delete a Group
After the employees create a Group, you can edit the Group as required and delete it. Learn more in Manage a Group and its activities.
Navigate to Admin > Home > Groups.
5.2 Add and remove participants from the Group
After the employees create a group, you can add the participants to open and closed groups. Learn more in Manage a Group and its activities.
Navigate to Admin > Home > Groups.
5.3 View all the posts in the Groups
You can view all the posts in the groups posted by other employees without joining them. Learn more in View other Group posts.
