### **1. Introduction**

Integrating ADP Workforce Nowwith Engagedly allows admins to sync employee details, including custom fields, from ADP directly into Engagedly. The integration improves efficiency, streamlines administrative workflows, and ensures employee data stays accurate and up to date. It also helps reduce manual updates and maintain consistent employee records across both platforms. ###### **Prerequisites**

- Admin access to both Engagedly and ADP Workspace Now.
- Purchase the Engagedly Data Connector Edition from the [ADP Marketplace](https://apps.adp.com/en-US/apps/53175/engagedly--performance-learning-and-engagement/editions).
- After you purchase, [contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to configure the user field mappings between ADP and Engagedly.

### **2. Default field mappings**

By default, the following fields are mapped between ADP Workforce Now and Engagedly:

| **Engagedly fields** | **ADP fields** |
| --- | --- |
| First Name | givenName |
| Last Name | familyName1 |
| Employee ID | idValue |
| Joining Date | originalHireDate |
| Job Title | jobTitle |
| Email | email Url (default unique identifier) |
| Status | codeValue |
| Departments | Department |
| Business Unit | Business Unit |
| Manager | reportsTo |
| Profile picture | href |

**📒Note:** These are the default mappings. [Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to customize or add additional fields as required.

### **3. Before user sync**

Before mapping and syncing, write an [email to our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to enable or disable the following options:

- Blocked User Creation: Prevents automatic creation of blocked users.
- Sync Mapped Attributes only: Ensures only mapped fields are synced.

You receive an email notification after successful integration.

### **4. Sync employee accounts**

[Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to schedule user data syncs to keep employee accounts up-to-date in Engagedly. Syncs can run once daily, twice daily, or at a frequency you specify.

During each sync, Engagedly automatically:

- Adds new employees
- Updates existing employee records
- Blocks or dismisses employees as required
- Updates departments, job titles, and other mapping attributes

Employee details update automatically after every sync. You may also [request our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to stop syncing at any time.

### **5. Primary unique identifier**

By default, email ID serves as the primary unique identifier for employees. If you prefer to use employee ID, [contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to update this setting.

### **6. Sync status and reports**

[Contact our support team](mailto:support@engagedly.com) to request the current sync status and detailed reports.

**ℹ️Additional information:** ADP SSO is the default configuration when someone purchases the connector or purchases the Engagedly app from ADP.
