Configure competency framework
The competency framework groups skills into measurable abilities to assess performance and ensure role alignment.
Only admins can configure the competency framework. Once enabled, managers can review team members’ competency levels.
Enabling the framework allows you to:
- Standardize performance expectations across roles
- Organize competencies into categories and subcategories
- Track proficiency levels and representative behaviors
- Align competencies with career paths and development plans
Enable competency framework
Navigate to Apps > Growth > Settings.

On the "TALENT MANAGEMENT" page, go to "Competency Framework".
- Use the toggle to enable Competency Framework.

After enabling, you can:
- Configure competency proficiency scale
- Add and manage competency categories
- Add and manage competencies
- Define representative behaviors
- Import competencies in bulk
- Enable competencies for growth and learning
ℹ️Additional information:
- Existing competencies are automatically saved as “Uncategorized”.
- Move uncategorized competencies into relevant categories.
- Reassign competencies across categories or subcategories for better organization and alignment with career paths.
