Import courses from integrated applications

Authors can import courses from Engagedly Academy and other learning applications, such as Learning Planet, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, BizLibrary, Go1, Traliant, and OpenSesame if their organization has integrated with them. However, only admins can integrate applications.

Note: Engagedly Academy is available at no additional cost by default. Contact our support team to enable it for your organization.

Authors can import an individual course or multiple courses.

Prerequisites

  1. Contact our support team to enable any learning application integration that your organization has integrated.
  2. After integration, you must enable the integrated learning application. Learn more in Overview of integrations.

Note:

  • Only admins and learning managers can import courses from integrated learning applications to Engagedly.
  • Any employee in the organization can create learning if admins give them permission. However, they cannot import learning.

For Engagedly V1, navigate to Learning from the top.

For Engagedly V2, navigate to Apps on the left pane and select Learning.

Import individual course

  1. At the top right, click Manage Resources, and then click Add.
  2. Click the learning application your organization has integrated.

View a list of courses, including details such as the course name, description, duration, author, and level.

Search for courses by their names and filter them based on:

  • Status: Not imported and imported
  • Difficulty: Beginner, intermediate, and expert
  • Language

Note: Filter options may vary depending on the learning provider. The import status filter is available for all learning providers

  3.   Hover over the course and click Import Course on the right to import the individual course.

  4.   Click Import.

Import multiple courses

You can import multiple courses manually or in bulk.

  3.   Follow steps 1 and 2.

  4.   At the top left, enable Select all to select all courses or manually select the courses as required.

You can view the number of courses selected at the top.

  5.   Click Import Selection at the top right.

  6.   Click Import.

After importing courses, assign them to learners.

Note: You can mark a course imported from an integrated application as compliance. They can import learners for such courses. However, course progress status is not available, as it is managed by the external learning application.
