1. Introduction

Feedback is a positive reaction or developmental opportunity to an individual's performance. Feedback is a useful tool for boosting your skills, communication, relationships, and the success of an organization.

Engagedly's Feedback is used within the organization to make it easy to request and share Feedback and Praise employees for their excellence in work. Feedback does not follow any hierarchy. Anyone can request or share Feedback with other employees within the organization.

1.1. How does it Work

  • You share or request Feedback from other employees.
  • You receive a notification to submit Feedback.
  • You submit your Feedback.
  • You can view and export the Feedback reports.

1.2. User Actions

You can perform the following actions in Feedback:

  • Share Feedback
  • Request Feedback
  • Praise employees
  • View and export the Feedback reports

2. Overview

You can view the shared and received Feedback about you within the organization.

You can filter the Feedback based on Feedback type and Incoming and Outgoing or search by specific Names and Feedback.

Click the Filter Icon to filter the Feedback as required.

2.1. Share Feedback

Sharing Feedback involves providing insights and comments about an employee to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Learn more in Share and Request Feedback.

2.2. Request Feedback

Requesting Feedback involves seeking valuable insights and comments from any employees on their performance, skills, or areas for improvement. Learn more in Share and Request Feedback.

2.3. Praise employees

Public Praise allows employees to give positive Feedback to other employees for their work and contributions. Learn more in Post a Praise.

2.4. Open outgoing requests

Open outgoing requests are Feedback requests made by employees for themselves or anyone in the organization. You can view and manage the outgoing requests. You can also Notify the employees to respond to your Feedback requests.

Manage outgoing requests

Employees can edit and/or delete the outgoing Feedback requests until they receive the response.

  • Click open outgoing requests and select any pending requests.
  • Click the Overflow Menu, select Edit, make the necessary changes, and click UPDATE.
  • Click the Overflow Menu, and select Delete to delete the Feedback request.

2.5. Pending actions

You receive Pending Actions to submit the Feedback about other employees.

Note: You can RESPOND or Ignore the Feedback requests.

You can also respond to the ignored Feedback requests anytime. 

Click the Overflow Menu at the top right and select Ignored Requests.

3. Dashboard

The Dashboard provides the following statistical data:

Feedback received

It shows the total number of Feedback received based on the Feedback type.

  • Click any Feedback type to view the response.
  • Filter the Feedback response based on Dates and Feedback type or search by specific Names and Feedback.
  • Select any response to Add a comment if required.

Feedback shared

It shows the total number of Feedback shared.

  • Hover over the employee's profile and click View to view the Feedback.
  • Click the Overflow Menu to Edit or Delete the Feedback if required.

Incoming requests

It shows the number of pending, ignored, and responded Feedback requests with the response rate.

  • Click Requests Pending or Requests Ignored to respond to the Feedback requests.
  • Click Responded With Feedback to View and Add a comment to the Feedback.

Outgoing requests

It shows the total number of outgoing Feedback requests and the number of responded and not responded requests.

  • Select Only Pending to view only pending requests if required.
  • Click Not Responded to NOTIFY the respondents and/or Edit or Delete the requests.
  • Click Responded to View, Add a comment, or Delete the Feedback.
  • Hover over the employee profile and click View to view the responded requests of the specific employee.

Note: You can edit or delete the pending requests until they are submitted.

Top categories

It shows the number of shared and received Feedback based on the Feedback categories.

Click any category to view and export the reports.

Note: The Dashboard is only visible if the admin enables the permission.

You can also Share Feedback, Request Feedback, and Praise employees.

4. Praise Wall

You can view the praises received by you and/or other employees in the organization. You can filter the praise posts based on Locations and Days.

Note: All the praise posts will be available on the Praise wall and Social Feed.

You can Praise employees, like, comment, and react to their posts. Learn more in Post a Praise.

5. Feedback Reports

You can view and export the Feedback shared, Feedback requests, and Praises received by you through the Feedback Report and Requests Report. Learn more in View and export reports.
