1. Introduction

Feedback is a tool that identifies employee strengths and weaknesses for targeted coaching and development opportunities. It promotes transparent and supportive communication among employees to share insights, recognize achievements, and identify areas for improvement.

Engagedly's Feedback is used within the organization to make it easy to request and share Feedback and praise employees for their contributions to work. Feedback does not follow any hierarchy. Anyone can request or share Feedback with other employees within the organization.

1.1. How does it Work

  • You have to enable Share/Request Feedback and Praise.
  • Employees can either share or request Feedback from others.
  • The requested employees receive a notification.
  • You can nudge the requested employee to submit their Feedback.
  • Employees receive a notification for submitted Feedback about them.
  • Employees acknowledge their Feedback.
  • You can view and export the Feedback reports.

1.2. User Actions

You can perform the following actions in Feedback:

  • Configure Feedback settings
  • Share Feedback
  • Request Feedback
  • Praise employees
  • Pin and unpin Praises
  • Delete any Praise post
  • Nudge managers to nudge their employees
  • Manage dashboard activities
  • View managers' team dashboard
  • View and export Feedback reports

2. Configure Feedback Settings

You can configure Feedback settings and manage the following features:

  • Settings
  • Features

Navigate to Settings > Feedback.

2.1. Settings

You can manage the following features in General and Visibility settings.

General

  • Categories for feedback
    • Manage categories
    • Mandatory category selection by users
  • Enable anonymous feedback
  • Mandatory feedback type selection by users
  • Show Dashboards

Visibility

  • Enable feedback visibility for others
  • Enable the permission to View feedback of all employees
  • Visibility to managers

2.2. Features

You can manage the following features:

  • Enable Share/Request Feedback
  • Enable Praise

3. Dashboard

You can view and manage the following actions:

  • Statistics
  • Feedback received
  • Feedback requests
  • Top categories
  • Praises

Statistics

The STATISTICS section provides data about Teams, Departments, and Business units, such as Feedback received, Feedback requests, Praises, and Team Dashboard. Learn more in View and export Statistical data.

Feedback Received

The FEEDBACK RECEIVED section shows the total number of Feedback received by all the employees in the organization, along with the member average.

Note: The member average is the average number of incoming Feedback employees receive.

Feedback Requests

The FEEDBACK REQUESTS section shows the total number of Feedback requests from all the employees in the organization, along with the response rate and the number of responded requests.

Note: The response rate shows the percentage of employees who have responded to feedback requests.

Top Categories

The TOP CATEGORIES section shows the lists of Feedback shared and received by all the employees in the organization based on the Feedback categories.

Praises

The PRAISES section shows the total number of Praises received by all the employees in the organization.

4. Feedback Wall

You can view the shared and received Feedback of all the employees in the organization. You can also filter the Feedback based on following parameters:

  • Employee’s name
  • Feedback name
  • Feedback type
  • Incoming and outgoing

Click the Filter Icon to filter the Feedback as required.

4.1. Share Feedback

Sharing Feedback involves providing insights and comments about an employee to help them understand their strengths and areas of improvement.

4.2. Request Feedback

Requesting Feedback involves seeking valuable insights and comments from employees on their performance, skills, or areas for improvement.

4.3. Praise employees

Employees can view positive feedback given by their peers for their work and contributions through public Praise within the organization.

5. Praise Wall

You can view the Praise posts received by all the employees in the organization. You can filter the Praise posts based on Locations and Days.

Note: You can view Praise posts on the Praise wall and in the Social Feed.

You can also perform the following actions:

  • Post a praise
  • Pin a post
  • Unpin a post
  • Like, comment, and react to the posts

6. Feedback Reports

You can view and export the Feedback shared, Praises received, and Feedback requests made by all the employees in the organization through the Feedback Report and Requests Report. Learn more in View and export reports.
